Divinity Original Sin 2 - Leaving Reaper's Coast at Last

 The crew is finally headed to the next chapter far stronger than when they arrived. Their roles and character are also much more defined. Like it's a role playing game. I think I'm getting it.

Joking aside, I have spent a lot of my time poring over party stats and abilities, carefully equipping them with complementary gear. I am even categorizing items stored on the Lady Vengeance by stuffing them into individual back packs. That's tedious.

The results so far:

My main character is a chatty, empathetic and visionary shadowblade elf with disgusting eating habits. She dual wields magic daggers. She really doesn't want to stab everything she sees and persuading people is her main job. Sadly, violence frequently breaks out even when she succeeds. Enemies are at risk of being transformed into chickens after she beats them down a bit. Still she has managed to achieve the hero tag.

She cheerfully encourages the erudite lizard warrior Red Prince even though he's actually the brute of the group. He is in charge of acquiring things and brutalizing enemies with his two handed clubs. He moves heavy stuff and smashes what he can't unlock. The crew really hates it when an enemy manages to turn him against them.

Shadowy human ranged unit Ifan trades their ill gotten gains for supplies, gear and magic books. He's a little sneaky and he talks to animals. She's not sure she should trust him with all the money. She's also been ignoring some of his suggestive comments considering his dark past.

Tortured mage and lore master Lohse provides support with healing and destructive elemental magic. She also summons ...things... to aid in battle. My elf would genuinely like to ease Lohse's pain but nothing has worked so far. Lohse's personal situation is risky but her abilities can turn a battle around.

Sir Lora, dead cat whisperer and squirrely squirrel, expired at some point. He returned in spirit form the first time the elf started talking to ghosts. What a relief.
